About Neko
Hello and welcome to the beginning of your healing journey! My name is Neko and I joined this field because I believe that life is a journey where invitations to heal, grow and prosper are constantly received. I am passionate about walking with others while they learn to seek their truest self. I have a particular interest in supporting those who are deconstructing high control or rigid belief systems, as well as those looking reconstruct a belief system that allows them to hold spirituality and personal identity simultaneously!
I received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Bethel Graduate School & Seminary. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Minnesota and Wisconsin. I am trained to view life difficulties through a systemic-trauma lens and I use that lens to work alongside those struggling with difficulties in life. I primarily use modalities that revolve around ones natural psychological parts and somatic sensations and experiences.
I have a deep passion for everyone to know that they have value; no matter where they are or where they have been - they hold intrinsic value. I want each person to know they are capable of healing and transformation no matter what choices they have made or despite what life has thrown at them.
I have been working alongside individuals for over a decade through my time as a University Staff, Hammer Residences, Wellstone Elementary and a Intensive Treatment to Foster Care program through Family Innovations.
When I am not sitting with clients, you will find me working with one of my clinical trainees, mentoring others in creating their own businesses or you will find me hanging out with my wife and kids!
