Sonia Mayren, MA

​

I received her Master of Arts Degree in Marriage
and Family Therapy from St. Mary's University of
Minnesota Graduate School.

I enjoy working with individuals, couples,
families, children and adolescents. I have extensive
experience working with children and families that
have been affected by trauma, domestic violence and
immigration issues.

I consider myself bicultural and bilingual as I have
had several years of experience working with the
Latino community in various capacities in Minnesota
and in other Latin American countries.

In therapy I utilizes a holistic and strengths-
based approach to therapy, incorporating mind, body,
and soul care. I work with clients on a variety of
issues and is trained in TF-CBT, Early Childhood
Development, Prepare and Enrich pre-marital
counseling and play therapy.

I am also Fluent in Spanish
