Troy Bennett, MA

Welcome to a space where embracing your present emotional experiences leads to profound personal growth and transformation. I believe neglecting these emotions can leave us feeling unseen, insecure, and alone. My goal is to create a safe environment where you can explore these feelings with intention.

I draw from Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), parts and somatic approaches, and trauma-informed neuro-affirming practices to facilitate healing. Because of this, I believe how we manage and respond to stress is based on our early relationship experiences. I also integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment theory, and mindfulness-based approaches into psychotherapy.

With an MA in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas, my clinical interests span men's issues, career concerns, grief and loss, self-esteem, depression, relationships, anxiety, boundaries, sexuality, and trauma. I’m interested in supporting neurodiverse clients. Informed by over 20 years in information technology and business, I honed skills in understanding diverse perspectives and navigating workplace challenges.

Beyond therapy, I cherish nature, travel, fantasy and sci-fi literature, gaming, and anime. I incorporate your interests into our work, ensuring sessions are not only therapeutic but also personally enriching.

Supervised by Neko Vanevenhoven, MA, LMFT, I'm committed to ongoing professional growth to provide you with the highest standard of care.

Let's embark together on a journey of self-discovery and transformation, unlocking your inner strength and guiding you towards a more authentic life.
